Sounds

We’ve built Timepage with design in mind, focusing on every visual aspect of the interface to make sure it looks as intentional and beautiful as possible. Sound design was an integral part of this process—we’ve wanted to make sure that the sound effects were pleasant, useful, and won't affect your workflow.

When your ringer is on, Actions will play sound effects as you do certain things in the app. Swipe gestures, for example, have their own unique sound effects; the same goes for button presses. These sound effects aim to be representative of the work you're doing while remaining lighthearted and whimsical.

Sound isn't for everyone, though, so we've made it easy to toggle them without having to turn off your ringer. To do this:

  1. Tap the Settings icon

  2. Tap "Preferences"

  3. Select "Sounds"

  4. Under "Sound Effects," check/uncheck "Play Sound Effects"

In this menu, you'll also find the option to change the sound effects for reminders. Here, you'll have eight options to choose from, and this sound will be what you'll here when you get a notification from Timepage. While tapping through the options, make sure your ringer is switched on.
