Viewing Weather Information

When you’re checking the day ahead, Timeline already displays your calendar events and—with the Actions integration—your upcoming to-dos. Since so many of the important things in our day revolve around the weather, we chose to include a shortcut to getting the week's weather information right in your Timeline.

To see the weather forecast, navigate to the Timeline panel and tap and hold anywhere on the screen. After a short period of time, Timeline will transition from its normal calendar mode into a weather view.

In this streamlined look into the weather, you’ll see a glyph representing the day’s forecast, the high and low temperatures, and the chance of precipitation. This is meant to be the quickest way to view what’s coming up—if you’d like to see hourly weather information, tap into Day View.
